Respect Life Corner - Grade Your Marriage
Marriage is not a test that you either pass or fail. It is an ongoing process of learning about each other and how to accommodate differences so that both of you can feel satisfied and grow in love for each other
Learn, Act, Connect, Pray: Marriage is not a com-petition in which one person wins at the expense of the other. Go to www.foryourmarriage.org to assess where you are in your marriage. This assessment can add up to a blueprint for deepening your marriage and helping you reach your full potential. Give thanks to God our Father for the gift of marriage: the bond of life and love.
Fifth Sunday of Lent - March 17-18, 2018
About dying. Many are already thinking of spring planting and waiting for bulbs to show and then flower. Dying seeds. Dormant bulbs. Plentiful produce. Beautiful flowers.
• As Lent winds down, what still needs to die in me?
• As Easter draws near, what needs to flourish?
• How will I remain obediently faithful?
The Catholic Service and Ministry Appeal
A most heartfelt thanks to all those who have already responded with a gift to The 2018 CSMA; we are truly grateful. If you have not yet done so, there’s still plenty of time…one-time donations or pledges – in any amount – are needed. Our seminarians, people served by Catholic Urban Programs and Daystar Community Program, the youngsters at Sister Thea Bowman Catholic School and 10 other ministries and programs are counting on your support. Donations can be made through your parish or online at www.diobelle.org. Please consider making your gift today or at any time in the coming months. Thank you and may God bless you for your generosity.
2017 Tithing Statements
Your 2017 contribution statements are available on the table at Church entrance — please pick them up.
